Announcement: SFRR-Asia Young Investigator Awards (YIA)
Young Investigators Award
The SFRR-Asia Young Investigators Award is presented at each SFRR-Asia Biennial Meeting. This year, the 12th SFRR-Asia Biennial Meeting will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from December 16 to 19, 2026.
Qualifications for the awards
- Be a member of SFRR-Asia and have paid the 2026 annual membership fee.
- Be a student, postdoctoral fellow, young researcher, or hold a similar early-career position.
- Submit an abstract and present the research at the annual meeting as the first author, either through an oral or poster presentation. The award recipient must attend the meeting and be present at the award ceremony.
YIA awardees will receive official certification and cash.

Please send the abstract that you submitted to the 12th SFRR-Asia Biennial Meeting, together with your CV (A4 size, maximum 1 page), including your date of birth and gender, to the SFRR-Asia Secretariat at sfrrasia@koto.kpu-m.ac.jp, with a copy (CC) to the SFRR-Asia 2026 Secretariat at sfrr.asia2026@gmail.com.

You may simultaneously apply for SFRR-Asia membership when submitting your abstract and CV for the YIA.
The SFRR-Asia Executive Committee judging panel will review the submitted abstracts and CVs and evaluate the candidates' presentations on-site. The results will be announced during the Young Investigator Award (YIA) ceremony.
